Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Brian Ley of Council District 4 to the Game Management Advisory
Commission.
Mr. Ley is a fourteen-year resident of Hawai'i, currently employed in the commercial nuclear
power plant field contracted through Scientech, Radium, DES, Annatech and Curtis Wright.
Mr. Ley has engaged as a community member with the Department of Land and Natural
Resources and the Game Management Advisory Commission over the last several years. He is
knowledgeable on matters related to the preservation of subsistence hunting and fishing,
protecting traditional and cultural gathering rights, and is prepared to serve the community in an
advisory capacity. If confirmed, Mr. Ley will serve a five-year term to end December 2025.
