Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Richard Henderson II of Council District 2 to the Board of
Appeals.
Mr. Henderson is a life-long resident of Hawai'i with over 35 years of real estate experience in
both residential and commercial sales and management. He is currently employed by HSC, Inc.
and RSM, Inc., as Vice President and Broker.
Mr. Henderson is the President of the National Association of Real Property Managers, and an
active member of Hilo Crime Stoppers. He is a retired member of the East Hawai'i Cancer
Society, Rotary Club of Hilo, and Friends of the Children's Justice Center.
Mr. Henderson attended Hilo High School, Hawai'i Preparatory Academy, and the Wharton
School of Business. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end December 31, 2023.
