Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate John Hiduchick-Nakayama of Council District 2 to the Veteran's
Advisory Committee.
Mr. Hiduchick-Nakayama served as a combat veteran in the United States Army, now serving in
the Army Reserve as Chaplain. He is an active volunteer for the annual Hawai'i Island
Veteran's Day Parade and participates in his local VFW and American Legion Posts.
Mr. Hiduchick-Nakayama is employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a Human
Resource Manager. If confirmed, he may serve a 5-year term to end December 2025.
