Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
In accordance with the County Charter Section 13-4, I submit George Sheridan for
reappointment to the Veteran's Advisory Committee.
The Council recently confirmed Mr. Sheridan in July of2017, with a term expiration date of
December 31, 2020. He is now eligible to serve a full term that would expire on December 31,
2025.
As noted previously, Mr. Sheridan is a life-long Hawai'i resident who served in the United States
Army from 1967-1976, and the Hawai'i Army National Guard from 1976-1999. He is a
Vietnam veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #3830, and is a dedicated advocate
for veterans on Hawai'i Island.
