Aloha Council members,
My name is Ursula Chong, kalo farmer and private land owner(my husbands family land) in Waipi'o Valley.
I am sumbiting testimony in support of Bill 217.
We use Waipi'o's main access road weekly to work on our kalo farm. My family and I have experienced enough life threatening,
dangerous situations on the road that affect our livelyhood and as well as the well-being of community as a whole.
First step to improve safety for Waipi'o Valley in the area fronting the access road and on the road are essential. Bill 217 will address
safety needs for all (general public/Waipi'o residents, farmers) not general public wants.
