We all desire such accommodations in our own neighborhoods. I have never entered the Valley, because I have not yet felt invited to.However, I am uncomfortable with restricting the public's ability to encounter and commune with publicly-owned places. If portions of the Valley are publicly-owned and would become off limits due to this Bill,I would advocate instead for an alternate management arrangement focused on limiting access to the Valley to Hawaii Island residents, as well as a daily use entrance cap and tracking use activities. County Clerk, please include my written testimony as par of the official record. Thank you, and with respect and aloha, Christopher Hawkins ,:ems Kamuela,HI 9674; 03 Comm. No. ' Ref. o: t Ref.
