Dear County Council members,
I am opposed to this bill for the following reasons:
With covid and Christmas, the public has not had enough time nor attention to react.
Prohibiting foot traffic eliminates the right of so many, who do not have a 4x4, can't afford a shuttle, and
who have historically and culturally enjoyed Waipio.
Other solutions should be sought, like good signage and a foot lane, before making such a drastic ruling.
Please do not pass this bill, as my family and I, who have traditionally hiked into Waipio, will be heart
broken.
