Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
In accordance with the County Charter Section 13-4, 1 submit John Bertsch for reappointment to
the Police Commission.
The Council recently confirmed Mr. Bertsch on March 8, 2019 with an expiration date of
December 31, 2020. He is now eligible to serve a full 5-year term that would expire on
December 31, 2025.
As noted previously, Mr. Bertsch is a self-employed Consultant, who holds a BA in
Communications/Public Relations from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and has served as a
Volunteer Fire Fighter for over 25 years.
