I oppose the confirmation of Zendo Kern. He has been too cozy with developers, and over the past few years I have read several
times in the paper about how he represents wealthy land buyers and their agenda.
In Ainako where I live, he facilitated the sale of an acreage that contains wetlands. The situation in Ainako is that the parcel that was
bought contains a stream/river that becomes subterranean (source of info is husband Erik Belcher,who explored the area as a child).
I do not want someone who has profited from land and land development to represent me in Planning Department. I want someone
who can be objective and balanced, rather than someone who has been an ally of developers in Hawaii nei.
