Aloha,
It is beyond disappointing that Mitch Roth is ignoring the many reasons voters are appalled at the idea of Zendo Kern heading the
Planning Department.Today's article in WHT points out that among the many letters opposing this appointment,they have not
received a single letter in support.To approve this appointment would send the message that the Council doesn't care what voters
think, particularly West Hawaii voters, and is ready to repeat the errors of the past yet again.As Mitch Roth said in today's WHT,
"You don't make changes by doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results." I strongly hope the Council
has the good judgment to follow that thought and reject Zendo Kern.
