Subject: Zendo Kern
I am a long-time resident-owner of a house in Pualani Estates, on Paulehia Street. I am opposed to Zendo Kern being
on Mayor Roth's team. Mr. Kern has received money from developers of the proposed new development between
Kona Vistas and Pualani Estates. If this happens,traffic will greatly increase on our two-lane "highway", especially
during morning and afternoon rush hours. Some traffic from the proposed development would go through Paulehia
Street and some would go through Ho'omama Street. These are narrow residential streets with a number of small
children living and playing daily on the streets. Any such additional traffic would then have to turn left on
Puapua'anui Street, a dangerous move at best and then have to go through the stoplight on the highway. 'Phis would
be a disaster. Don't let Zendo Kern be allowed to influence Mitch Roth's decisions about this proposed
developmenW!
