RE: A Bill for an Ordinance to Establish a Real Property Tax Credit for Properties
Classified as Residential Tier Two Properties
Attached is a bill to amend Chapter 19, Article 11, Section 19-90 of the Hawaii County Code
1983 (2016 Edition), by adding language to subsection(f)that establishes a Residential Tier Two
real property tax credit for contributions made to qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or
County-sponsored homelessness initiatives.
Please refer to the appropriate committee for February 2, 2021.
