SUBJECT: Request for presentation from the Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii.
I am requesting approximately 20 minutes for a presentation and discussion including Coalition
Coordinator Jana Ortiz-Misiaszek and Community Police Officer Matthew Lewis representing
the East Hawaii chapter of the Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii.
The coalition is composed of citizens working together to achieve a safe and drug-free Hawaii
through public education, awareness, environmental prevention, and youth support programs.
Any presentation material for this status update will be provided under a separate
communication.
Please place this item on the next available Human Services and Social Services Committee
agenda.
