She served on the Hawai'i County Salary <br /> Commission, term ending 2015, and as Chair of the Police Commission from 2004 through <br /> 2008. <br /> Ms. Lassiter is a graduate of Punahou School and Sacramento City College, is an accomplished <br /> historian and horsewoman, and volunteers her time for numerous events and associations, <br /> including the Merrie Monarch Parade, Keiki Rodeo, Hawai'i Quarter Horse Association, and the <br /> Paniolo Preservation Society.
