Subject: opposition to Zendo and proposed development
We would like to state that after grueling research and multiple inquiries into Zendo Kern's CV he is in no way
qualified for the position of the County Planning Director. This appointment is of Zendo Kerns-and his
associates, the development firm: Richard Wheelock, Robert Williams and Roland Higshiover contributed over
$10,000.00 to our new mayor's campaign funds. In this era of political unrest and mistrust please don't allow
this appointment to go through. At the very least rethink this obvious conflict of interest and appoint a county
planning director who is qualified and shows no biased to the issues at hand. This position needs to be
reconsidered and should be filled by someone that has no personal agenda. A potential Planning Director's
decision will ultimately impact so very may tax paying residents of the Big Islands. We are BEGGING you to
reconsider. PLEASE hear our voice!
