To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter in support of the candidacy of Zendo Kern, as Director of the Planning Dept. I
was excited to hear that Mayor Roth had nominated Zendo for this position, as finally Puna would have
a sympathetic ear in Planning. The previous planning director often spoke disparagingly about Puna.
We need a director who knows and respects our community and is sincerely committed to our welfare.
