Aloha County Council,
I will get right to the issue.
I don't see that Mr. Zendo Kern meets the required minimum County Qualifications for the Planning Director position per Charter.
I also feel Mr. Kern has to many developers that he has worked for and paid him to be objective and will just rubber stamp plans.
Even if he excuses
himself and hands issues down to another staff member he will still influence the decisions because he is there Director.
In past interactions with him, he does not care about the public's or neighborhoods issues or even listen to them, only the people
he is beholding to which paid him and
I don't see that ever changing. He has to many conflicts of interest.
For the above reasons and more Mr. Kern should not be the next Planning Director.
