Aloha, I'm taking the time out of my day to express my dissatisfaction with Mayor Roth's picks for Planning Director and j
Director of Public Works. Though fine people, I find them very controversial. I don't feel they have the qualifications
mandated for the positions and I am very upset by their many conflicts of interest. The last thing we need are more lawsuits
which could be avoided by picking people who are actually qualified and less controversial. I wouldn't be writing, but I feel
these positions are too important to the future of our island to stay silent.
