Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of six Intoxilyzer 8000 Breath Test
Instruments from the County of Maui Police Department, 55 Mahalani Street, Wailuku,
HI 96793. The Intoxilyzer 8000 Breath Test Instruments, valued at$42,000,will be
used to assist the Hawaii County Police Department in the upkeep and maintenance of
the units already placed in nine locations island wide.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Maui Police Department is offering to donate (6) Intoxilyzer 8000 breath testing instruments to the
Hawaii Police Department at no cost. These instruments would assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the
units already placed in nine (9) locations within Hawaii County.
Approxbiate value of (6) Intoxilyzers $42,000.00
