Ms. Ward has over <br /> 20 years of dedicated service with UH Hilo, College of Tropical Agriculture and Human <br /> Resources Extension Service, as well as a wealth of knowledge working with the Hawai'i <br /> Organic Farmers Association. <br /> Ms. Ward holds a master's degree in Horticultural from UH Manoa with postgraduate <br /> coursework at UH Hilo. She is an active participant in several civic organizations, including the <br /> Hawai'i Tropical Fruit Growers, HCC Forest TEAM Advisory Committee, UH Hilo Office of <br /> Mauna Kea Management Environmental Committee, and the Sierra Club, the nation's largest <br /> and most effective grassroots environmental movement, passionately defending our most <br /> precious resources and wild places.
