A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO COVER EXPENSES FOR THE COUNTY REDISTRICTING
COMMISISON.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 15-3 of the County Charter, the 2018-2020 Charter Commission completed its duties, its membership dissolved and is not due to reconvene a new membership
until 2029; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-17 of the County Charter, the County Redistricting Commission is due to begin and complete its activities in 2021 and funds are needed to provide resources
for the Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Charter Commission account contains excess funds due to lower than anticipated expenses; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:
