I am writing to support Councilman Chung's creative proposal. I have been a homeowner for over 20 years and was
very distraught at the recent property tax increase. I feel it is discriminatory and taxation without
representation. As a result I substantially reduced my charitable giving. I love HI and all of our people and it hurt
me to do so but I felt the government's actions were unfair. Under councilman Chung's concept I will again be a
very generous contributor. Please adopt this innovative idea.
