Dear Council Members:
As a community leader deeply engaged with charitable organizations that span the island, I would like to urge you to vote YES
on Bill 18.
I believe that this would lead to greater philanthropic support for our local non-profits, and will go some ways to repair the
strained relationship between our generous philanthropists (who are the most touched by the tier two tax) and our Island
community.
This will also help us quantify and understand the impact of philanthropy on our resident's lives,yielding to good decision
making.
Although I am not(yet) a Hawaii voter, I am a philanthropist and political campaign donor in Hawaii. Please feel free to email
