Please be advised that I am in favor of Bill 18. I have lived here for over 40 years in both Waimea and Puako. Yes I was lucky
when I purchased my property back then. Yes, It has appreciated in value, but I have paid the increasing taxes along the way.
I have contributed to and supported many charitable organizations on this island for all those years.The hospital, the school,
my church, high school rodeo, humane society, Police, etc. Now comes another tax. More taxes means fewer dollars for all
those great organizations. Please give Bill 18 your affirmative consideration.
Hey, how about instituting a lottery?The revenue from that one program would cover all the deficits.
