Aloha and thanks for considering our inputs.
First, this is not an election nor a popularity contest. It doesn't matter if 20, 50 or 100 "atta boy" letters are
submitted supporting the nomination of Zendo. The only things that matter are the qualifications that have
been defined by the County through past experience and history along with the real and apparent conflict
of interest. As I have stated, Zendo is probably a nice guy, but then so is "Joe the Plumber" of which
neither have the requisite qualifications for this position. These qualifications have been well thought out
from history and experience. This is not a "learn on the job" position. This and the conflicts associated with
Zendo's last job with KV3 make him not qualified for this appointment. We can and must to better for the
County of Hawaii.
