I am a concerned citizen in council district 8 represented by Holeka Inaba.
Although planning commissioners are volunteers, I feel they should be without bias. Dennis Lim works for an employee owned
construction material supply house. I feel this fact alone would make it difficult to be unbiased in any decision that may involve him
profiting from the sale of materials for a project that comes before the windward planning commission.
I appreciate the Council taking care to select planning commissioner volunteers who are unbiased in their service to the people of
Hawaii County.
