COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />*I% 'A <br />RESOLUTION NO. 040 X <br />OLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A <br />LATER FISCAL YEAR A14D OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR <br />� m <br />�OR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF ONE (1) CLOSED CIRCUIT <br />'rELEVISION TRUCK FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />I= <br />[T.NVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br />lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br />later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease <br />agreement for five (5) years, for one (1) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) truck; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this CCTV trick will be used by their West Hawaii staff for <br />inspection of existing sewer systems to obtain vital data, which includes locating <br />lateral locations, locating and determining the extent of existing defects in need of <br />repair, evaluating the condition of repaired areas, and collecting video for their <br />Asset Management data base - now therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year <br />lease agreement for the equipment as indicated above, for the <br />Department of Environmental Management. <br />
