RESOLUTION NO. S5 2:.
RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION 735-20 AUTHORIZING
'SHE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII
WHEREAS, Resolution 735-20, adopted on October 21, 2020, in
accordance with section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, authorizing the Mayor to
(.xecute, on behalf of the County, an agreement and related documents with the
University of Hawaii to fund their "Increasing Production of Novel Floriculture
Products for Import Replacement" project proposal; and
WHEREAS, the recitals to Resolution 735-20 made reference to provide
��13,076 to the University of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the actual 1:unding amount is $12,000; and
WHEREAS, the Depart.,nent of Research and Development requests that
all references in Resolution 7�)5-20 to indicate the funding amount of $13,076 be
(.,.hanged to reflect funding of $12,000; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution 735-20 be, and hereby is, amended to
r,hange all references of $13,076 to reflect instead, $12,000.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii
shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, the Department
of Research and Development and the Department of Finance.
