RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION 735-20 AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI‘I
WHEREAS, Resolution 735-20, adopted on October 21, 2020, in accordance with section 46-7, Hawai‘i Revised Statutes, authorizing the Mayor to execute, on behalf of the County, an agreement
and related documents with the University of Hawai‘i to fund their “Increasing Production of Novel Floriculture Products for Import Replacement” project proposal; and
WHEREAS, the recitals to Resolution 735-20 made reference to provide $13,076 to the University of Hawai‘i; and
WHEREAS, the actual funding amount is $12,000; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development requests that all references in Resolution 735-20 to indicate the funding amount of $13,076 be changed to reflect funding of $12,000;
now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution 735-20 be, and hereby is, amended to change all references of $13,076 to reflect instead, $12,000.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawai‘i shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, the Department of Research and Development
and the Department of Finance.
