Sugg. 20-015 pgs. 1.23-1.24/ TMK 2-8-008-151.
All the desirable Open Space and Shoreline access uses are already available to the gen-
eral public for this parcel. The map attached to the Summary clearly shows that a parking area
and easy access to Pepe`ekeo Landing and nearby fishing and a 10 foot wide hiking trail already
exist in perpetuity.
It is worth pointing out that the
"historic" Pepe`ekeo Point is not on thispar-
cel, neither is Alia Point. These historic sites
are already accessible to the general public.

Historic Preservation off and on since 1985
for the Pepe`ekeo area and this claim of a Leina is not accurate.
If the County does acquire this parcel they will be faced with a concrete nightmare from
the previous developer who had to cease and desist at the insistence of the County and State.
The following series of photos depict what is currently within this parcel and which the
County would have to mitigate if it actually chose to spend the money for land which already
has Open Access and Space.
