Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my honor and pleasure to nominate Dana Asis of South Kohala to our Leeward Planning
Commission.
Ms. Asis is a community-minded individual and an active community servant. She currently
volunteers countless of hours in the Emergency Department at North Hawai'i Community
Hospital since 2014. She also serves as a Mentor with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and
served as a Patient Advocate for the Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Ms. Asis has been a resident of Hawai'i Island for 9 years, focusing on community needs and
improvements. If confirmed, Ms. Asis will represent At Large-S. Kohala for a term to end
December 31, 2025.
