Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my honor and pleasure to nominate Elyse Robinson of District 2 to our Environmental
Management Commission.
Ms. Robinson has been a resident of Hawaii for 35 years. She is actively engaged in community
service having served as president, vice president, secretary and committee member of the Zonta
Club of Hilo since 2014. Ms. Robinson is currently a member of the Japanese Chamber of
Commerce, a former member of the Rotary Club of Pahoa Sunset and former President of the
Puna Mens Chorus.
Ms. Robinson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Hawai'i
at Hilo and is currently employed as a financial advisor for Edward Jones Investments.
If confirmed, Ms. Robinson will serve a full term ending December 31, 2025.
