RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR INTEGRATED SERVICE DIGITAL NETWORK PRIMARY
RATE INTERFACE FOR TELEPHONE DIGITAL INWARD DIALING SERVICE FOR THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more
than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawai‘i wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement for three (3) years, for Integrated Service Digital Network Primary Rate Interface (ISDN PRI) for telephone
Digital Inward Dialing (DID) service for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the current agreement has expired in January 2021; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a three (3) year agreement for ISDN PRI for telephone DID service for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawai‘i shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, and
the Finance Department.
