Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 48-21, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 48-21, transmitted by County Clerk Jon Henricks, via Communication No. 120
dated February 3, 2021, authorizes the payment of funds for a later fiscal year and of more than one
fiscal year for a multi-year lease for a multifunction, color printer for the Office of the County Clerk,
Support Services Division.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year lease agreement with an approximate
monthly cost of$2,150.
Deputy Clerk Mr. Aaron Brown was asked by Finance Chair Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder to "touch on"
this resolution. Mr. Brown explained the Support Services Division has just finished their five year lease
agreement for their color printer. Mr. Brown went on to express his gratitude to the Support Services
Division whose services are provided to every department within the County of Hawai`i.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 48-21, and
recommends its adoption.
