Subject: Testimony on Bill 5
Dear Councilmembers,
Please change the Bill 5 prescription to deferring permitting rather than confirming permitting if the Planning Commission
does not take action on a measure before it within the allotted time frame. I admit that my perspective is one of'degrowth' rather
than growth. I will admit that I would put any possible roadblocks in the way of unbridled growth. If we are to allow any growth, it
needs to be examined super carefully from the vantage of a more and more unstable environment, primarily due to the
impending disaster of Climate Change. Please reconsider any disposition to facilitation of growth.
