Subject: Bill 25-Puako Wastewater System
Aloha,
We have lived in and owned our homes in Puako for over 33 years. We fully support the efforts of the
Puako Association to develop a plan to deal with our community waste water situation.
Our state and county needs to do everything possible to protect our pristine waters for ourselves, our children and
grandchildren.
chile the county has acknowledged and encouraged the development in Puako by:
L permitting licenses for vacation rentals
2. permitting the building of very large homes
3. raising taxes ;
the county has not provided the infra-structure necessary to protect our ocean from polution.
We need the funds necessary to complete an environmental assessment and project design for a waste water.
