To Whom It May Concern:
I am the owner of 2 properties in Puako and serve on the board in a volunteer position for the Puako Community Association. I know
first hand how hard our community has been working on this subject for close to a decade now. We ask your support for a
community wide wastewater treatment facility to protect the Puako reef and its waters. My family spends significant time on the
beach and the waters in the Puako Bay. We have noticed the decrease in clarity of the waters over the past 10 years. We would like
to leave these waters in a better condition for future generations.
Therefore, we respectfully ask for your support of the wastewater treatment project and preliminary design for our community.
