Aloha,
I would like to testify on Communications 161 and 162 before the Planning Committee on March 17, 2921.
While both are doing great service to our community, I must nevertheless oppose Dana Asass nomination
because of direct connections to powerful real estate development interests and CJ Kanuha because of potential
conflicts of interests and a lack of experience in and knowledge of county planning laws, rules, and
regulations. The Leeward Planning Commission should be comprised of a members who represent the broad
interests of our unique community and have the knowledge, experience, and expertise to make decisions
regarding the complexities of county planning.
