This breathing apparatus, valued at approximately $6,000, will be used by the County of Hawai`i Fire Department to fill air tanks at the Waiakea Fire Station. The Fire Department requests that this resolution be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the April 21, 2021 Council agenda in order to expedite receipt of this donation. In reviewing this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review.
