Bill 26: Repeals Ordinance No. 12-128, Which Amended Section 25-8-23 (Mountain View Zone
Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as
Amended), by Changing the District Classification from Single -Family Residential —
10,000 Square Feet (RS -10) to Village Commercial —10,000 Square Feet (CV -10) at `Ola`a,
Puna, Hawaii, Covered by TMK: 1-8-002:064 (Planning Director Initiated) (Area:
13,785 Square Feet). Repeals Ordinance No. 12-128, which would revert the property's
classification back to its original designation of Single -Family Residential —10,000 square feet.
Ayes: Council Members Chung, Inaba, Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder, Kierkiewicz, Kimball, Lee Loy,
Richards, Villegas, and Chair David — 9; Noes: None; Absent: None; Excused: None.
Bill 27: Amends Chapter 19, Article 7, Section 19-53, Repeals Chapter 19, Article 7,
Section 19-58.1 and Section 19-58.2 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as
Amended), Relating to the Nonspeculative Residential Use Real Property Tax Dedication.
Repeals the nonspeculative residential use dedication program, effective July 1, 2021. Ayes:
Council Members Chung, Inaba, Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder, Kierkiewicz, Kimball, Lee Loy,
Richards, Villegas, and Chair David — 9; Noes: None; Absent: None; Excused: None.
