SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 98.
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 98. The amendment inserts the name
of one of the two prospective candidates that will be considered for the vacant County Auditor
position by the County Council during its Special Meeting scheduled for April 21, 2021.
1. The Enacting Clause of Resolution No. 98 is amended to read (material to be added is
underscored):
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that Mr. John Cashmon is hereby appointed as County Auditor pursuant to Section 3-
18(a) of the Hawai`i County Charter(2020)."
Please add this communication to the Special Meeting agenda for April 21, 2021.
