0 114 <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />ire oF•H►..P <br />RESOLUTION NO. 103 21 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PU`U`EO COMMUNITY CENTER'S <br />TEEN SCENE SUMMER FUN PROGRAM. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division plans, <br />conducts, arranges or promotes organized recreation, athletics, crafts and other leisure time and <br />aquatic activities for all age groups at recreation centers and aquatic facilities throughout the <br />County of Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, is <br />coordinating the summer Teen Scene Program for students who have completed seventh, eighth, <br />ninth, or tenth grade, which is scheduled from June 7 to July 16, 2021, at Pu`u`eo Community <br />Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the Teen Scene Program is specially designed for teenagers to teach them <br />"life skills" such as cooking, arts and crafts, leadership activities, career exploration, sports, <br />excursions, and other fun activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division is requesting <br />funds to replace equipment at Pu`u`eo Community Center for its 2021 Teen Scene Program <br />located in District 1; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for the Pu`u`eo Community Center's Teen Scene summer fun program. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
