SUBJECT: Update from Recovery Team on Voluntary Housing Buyout Program
By means of this communication, I am requesting a 15 minute presentation followed by a 30 minute
discussion with the Kilauea Recovery Team regarding launch of the Voluntary Housing Buyout
Program, anticipated to go live April 30, 2021.
Kindly request this matter be placed on a committee agenda for the May 4, 2021 meetings so that
residents impacted by the 2018 eruption have access to critical information related to opportunities
this program presents.
