Re: Resolution for multi-year agreement
The Department of Finance seeks to enter into a Seventh Amended Lease agreement for a
four-year term to utilize the premise as the Police Department warehouse.
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the County to enter into a four-year, multi-year lease
agreement with Geo Investment Company, Inc., for approximately 12,000 square feet of
warehouse space.

A. REQUEST:
Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the County of Hawaii Police Department to enter into a
Seventh Amended Lease for a four year extension to utilize the premises for the Police warehouse at
Shipman Industrial.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The County of Hawaii Police Department currently utilizes the premises consisting of 12,000 square feet
owned by Geo Investment Company, Inc. for a Police warehouse. The proposed amendment will be for a
four year period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2025.
