These positions are solely used for Police recruits <br /> during the training process. Upon graduating these recruits are transferred to full-time <br /> funded positions. <br /> The Police Department respectfully requests that a breach be authorized to submit this <br /> resolution after the April 16, 2021 submission deadline, and to waive it from the Finance <br /> Committee in order to be placed on the May 5, 2021 Council agenda. They also request <br /> that the five-day hold for reconsideration period be waived in order to further expedite <br /> this resolution.
