The 80-21 resolution from the County Council Of Hawai'i is a bill to help finance,
protect,and preserve the land near Banyans. There is a 15,320 square foot parcel near
the side of the Bali Kai hotel; towards the south side of the surf area. I fully support this
resolution because I feel that there is a lot of land and property devoted to malihini (or
tourists), especially near the metropolis of Kona. In my opinion there are already
enough businesses, buildings and a bunch of development around that area... It would
be great if we kama'aina (locals) could keep some land for ourselves. This way our keiki
(children) and the generations to come can dwell in the beauty of the natural life around
us. In conclusion, let us stand for the better of injured yet beautiful land of Hawai'i nei.
