This land is next to Holualoa Elementary School. My kids and grandkids all attended this wonderfuliool
I love the faculty and teachers. Being a little school, much special attention is given to each student.
I love the Ilolualoa Small Village town. I love the feeling, of HOME, and a sense of FARMING and ART combined.
There are buildings of over 50 years old, making this Historic! Small Post Office, Paul's Place, Inaba Pink Hotel, Art
Galleries, Kimura's Lauhala..
The people of this village are into PRESERVATION! You'll see old garages and empty houses all restored and kept
alive.
I love the Quality of Life, keeping the old and restoring.
Back in the 70's the old Coffee Mill was an Art Center (the floors were of gravel and plywood).
I went there for years after work, and did pottery, with" Aunty Carol and Uncle Bob Rogers".
It was so Relaxing!! I loved it!!
When I gave birth to my first child, Aunty Carol came to my house to make sure I was doing fine.
They founded a non profit Kona Art Center, it was a Sanctuary for artists to get out of their home studios and work
together on their artistic skills.
I loved the annual rummage sales too. Everyone waited outside, to find old treasures. When Aunty Carol rang the
Bell, the grand hunting began!! :)
This parcel sits above.
Ke Ala Kakou would be a great purchase for PONC.
It would protect this Historic Village from flooding, mauka to makai.
It would give the kids of Holualoa Elementary School a nice walking green path to the Imin Center.
Planting trees and landscape of Greenery on this land will enhance and protect.
"KEEP KONA COUNTRY" FOR THE NOW AND FUTURE GENERATION!
