Aloha, Council Members,
As a newly appointed PONC commissioner, I have recently visited the Holualoa Community Forest site,which was nominated again
this year, and I have met with the community leaders,who have made a very compelling case for this safe and walkable access from
the elementary school to the Imin Center.The children would have a safe way to walk, off the extremely busy and narrow road, and
the Community city would have a cool and refreshing place to walk and garden, away from the bustle of tourism. I have also
understood from the seller that the urgency of purchase is that a 14 unit condo is planned for this site. I fully support this purchase.
