RE: A Resolution Recognizing June as Lesbian,Gay,Bisexual,Transgender,Queer,Intersex,
and Asexual(LGBTQIA)Pride Month in the County of Hawai`i
Please find attached a resolution urging the County of Hawaii to recognize June as LGBTQIA
Month and the County Council encourages the Mayor to direct that the rainbow Pride flag be
raised and flown at the Hawaii County Building and West Hawaii Civic Center on each
business day of June 1 through June 30 of each year to show support for the LGBTQIA
community.
I respectfully request this resolution be placed on the appropriate agenda for the
June 1, 2021 committee meetings.
