SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT INVESTMENT IN HAWAII COUNTY
FROM THE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN, AMERICAN JOBS PLAN AND
AMERICAN FAMILIES PLAN AND TO FORM A PERMITTED
INTERACTION GROUP TO ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF THE COUNCIL.
Attached is a resolution detailing the proposed formation of a Permitted Interaction Group (PIG) to
work on a coordinated and comprehensive strategy to advocate for federal funds being made available
through the American Rescue Plan, American Jobs Program and American Families Plan in order to
support critical infrastructure and recovery efforts on our island.
Please place this item on an appropriate committee agenda.
